Reason the product is recalled:
Bainbridge has been notified by the manufacturer that there is a manufacturing defect with cartridges being overloaded across various batches. This affects our latest delivery and for product sold from January 2026.
The hazard:
This could lead to damage to the firing device and a resulting sudden release of hot gases. The release of hot gases at the locking mechanism or break points of the firing device could in turn lead to serious injuries, particularly to the hands.
What consumers should do:
Stop using the product immediately. Store the product securely and separately from other substances in accordance with applicable dangerous goods regulations until collection. Mark affected units with the note "Recall - do not use!".
